Developed Halloween Look - Peeling Forehead and Sliced Eyes Evaluation: Makeup Design and Scenario: This makeup if for a TV series about the development of a serial killer. After tasting the flesh from his wife's hand, the vet enjoyed it and wanted more so he decided to skin his wife so that he could eat her body but he tortured her beforehand, his mistress was still taking photos and this shows a photo of her forehead peeling which has been cut round the hairline and the sliced eyes. Makeup: Evaluation: The silicone on the 'inside of the head' and under the eyes is well blended which means that the the paint didn't cling to the edges which would ruin the illusion, this overall gives a more realistic appearance. The blood work also helps trick the eye and helps cover any visible edges, however, if I was to do this again I would add some bruises to the face to show that she was beaten. I also changed my design by putting blood in the mouth, this pulled the w...

1920s Makeup Evaluation: Makeup Design: This makeup is for a documentary series about forgotten killers. This is a suspected victim of Alonzo Robinson who had a truck full of decapitated women's heads, this is a few hours old so her face is starting to sink in and the wound is starting to age. Makeup: Evaluation: This makeup would work for film & TV as HD techniques and products were used, the makeup was well blended and the skin looked even. The wound was well blended which prevents the paint clinging to the edges which would ruin the illusion, alcohol paints were used which will last longer as they won't be affected by water as much as aqua paints would be. The wound is starting to age and for a film CGI would be used to cover the rest of the body or a dolls head would be used. The makeup fits the time period well as the blush is intense, the eye makeup is smoky and dark colours were used. The colour of the lipstick is also accurate along with ...

Seamless Silicone Cuts Evaluation: Makeup Design and Scenario: This makeup if for a TV series about the development of a serial killer. The vet continued to torture his wife while his mistress continued to laugh and take pictures. This is a photo of a a fresh, small laceration caused by a small knife and another laceration on the hand with exposed muscle when he decided to try human flesh. He removed a small section from the hand for it to be cooked and eaten. Makeup: Evaluation: The silicone is well blended which means the paint didn't cling to the edges which overall, makes the cut look more realistic, the blood work also helps trick the eye and the bruising is subtle. However, if I was to do this again I would add more blood to the cut with the exposed muscle to give a more realistic appearance. With this scenario, this makeup would be used in an 18 rated film or TV show, however, with a different scenario this makeup could be used in a PG13 or 15...
