of history’s most memorable events. In 1980, Pac-Man was released, John Lennon

network was launched on CNN (80s Kids, No Date).
In 1981, Princess
Diana and Prince Charles were married which was called the “fairytale wedding”
and the “wedding of the century” with roughly 750 million people watching. The wedding
was the most iconic event but lots of other events happened in 1981, including,

In terms of
makeup, the foundation was very thick and often consisted of multiple layers
that were often 2 shades lighter than the natural skin tone to create a pale
base for the vibrant colours of the rest of the makeup. The base was powdered
with a translucent powder to create a matte base and blush was used to contour
the cheekbones, it was blended below the cheekbones and across the whole cheek
then blended up around the outside of the eye. The blush was bold and very obvious,
and women often used oranges, bright pinks, and red blush (Skin City, 2015).
Eyebrows were
a lot thicker than previous years and this was when the bushy eyebrow trend
began. Blue was the colour of the decade with pinks, purples and oranges also
being extremely popular, blue on the lid with another colour in the crease was
one of the most popular looks and if you could add a third colour you were
considered to be cool. Electric blue mascara was one of the most popular
mascara colours in the 1980s (Skin City, 2015).
Black winged
exaggerated liner was also popular during the ‘80s along with the racoon eye look
which was a black line on the upper and lower lash line then smudging it out and
joining it up (Vocal, 2018).
Lipstick was
also a statement in makeup, corals, red, and fuchsia being the most popular
colours and the glossier the finish the better, the lipstick didn’t have to
match the of the look but this added to the uniqueness (Skin City, 2015).

Jeffrey Dahmer was a cannibal who killed most of
his victims in the ‘80s, he killed his 1st victim in 1978 and he
dismembered the body then he killed his second victim in 1987 where he killed a
man after drinking and used a suitcase to transport the body to his
grandmothers house where he dismembered the body and masturbated over the body.
He continued his killing spree and as he progressed, he started to complete rituals,
“experimenting with chemical means of disposal and often consuming the flesh of
his victims. Dahmer also attempted crude lobotomies, drilling into victims'
